New Town, New Lesson
So here's something new for me. I got a new (second hand really but its new to me) car mid January (weeks before I moved from country to city), I'd never had any major accidents with my old car, but new car apparently equals new "luck".I live on campus at my Uni, and have my shiny car with me.... Bad Idea....
Last Monday, 2-3am, some (insert colourful name here) came onto the campus car park and must have thoroughly enjoyed themselves smashing windows and ransacking cars.
Here's some "lovely" pictures of my car
Nothing was stolen, thankfully, and my insurance covers it. But the idiocy of those thieves is astounding.
Approximately 15 cars were broken into, one of which had phones and the like pulled out, snapped in half, and left on the ground.
Note to Self;
- leave glove-box and console open so potential thieves can see there is nothing in there.
- And do not leave earphones, AUX cables or any other technological looking devices in your car or at least not in plain sight. They see a cable and try to find what might be attached to it.
Though, if you have any knowledge, I love to hear from you.
Plus, adding to my "fantastic" luck, my car battery died yesterday because I left a light on two nights before.... Another lesson learned.
