Re-cap

Ok, re-cap time.

First semester was fun, especially got up to mischief in June. Kicking off the month with an end-of-exams celebration (got a little bit too drink and "borrowed" someones quilt - not like he had a say. the day after two friends and I went to Neko Nation Puurth - absolutely fantastic for an anime and Asian pop fan like me, not so much for one of the other girls. Ended the month with SupaNova -probably one of my highlights of the year, especially considering the friends I made and the photo with the Phelps twins.
July was long and rather uneventful; the only thing that happened for me was a huge, possibly misplaced, crush and a few-day visit with a friend in Busselton.
The crush I mentioned, yeah well after a long time and falling behind in my classes it faded and I realized 'no' - this was done with the help of the guy I borrowed the quilt from. He helped me realize what a nice guy was and I helped him, that and he is now my boyfriend.
     Having a boyfriend is very confusing for me, considering I am 20 and he is my first one, it is taking a while to adjust to the lifestyle changes it has resulted in. had a really down week which has lead to a few epiphanies and a new promise to myself;

Photo Fun

How to occupy yourself on a public holiday in Perth.

Step 1: Get bored.
Step 2: Grab a camera
Step 3: Catch a train to anywhere

You can walk around for hours taking photographs and eating free samples.

Perfect Way to Waste Time

Wasting Time

I never realized how much fun wasting time at Maccas was.
Lauren and I decided we were bored and went for a drive.
Wasted 2 hours at McDonalds :)

Carpark Caution

New Town, New Lesson

So here's something new for me. I got a new (second hand really but its new to me) car mid January (weeks before I moved from country to city), I'd never had any major accidents with my old car, but new car apparently equals new "luck".

I live on campus at my Uni, and have my shiny car with me.... Bad Idea....

Last Monday, 2-3am, some (insert colourful name here) came onto the campus car park and must have thoroughly enjoyed themselves smashing windows and ransacking cars.

Here's some "lovely" pictures of my car

Nothing was stolen, thankfully, and my insurance covers it. But the idiocy of those thieves is astounding.
Approximately 15 cars were broken into, one of which had phones and the like pulled out, snapped in half, and left on the ground.

Note to Self;
- leave glove-box and console open so potential thieves can see there is nothing in there.
- And do not leave earphones, AUX cables or any other technological looking devices in your car or at least not in plain sight. They see a cable and try to find what might be attached to it.

Though, if you have any knowledge, I love to hear from you.

Plus, adding to my "fantastic" luck, my car battery died yesterday because I left a light on two nights before.... Another lesson learned.

Bloggers Fever

Blogs

My best friend and I are both starting Uni this week and randomly caught Bloggers Fever.
Lauren has to make a blog for her Photography Degree (so it's not totally random) and I have previously made one for the Design Certificate I did 2 years ago, and wanted to make a personal one (this one) to help me throught my next 4 years of Uni.

Here's Lauren's:

and Here's my first one:

If you want to check them out.

I'll try to post other blogs I find
if I think they are cool or useful.

Food Experimentation

I Love Food.

Its as simple as that.
I can't cook commercialy but that doesn't mean I can't cook.
Home cooking is fun. Especially when you invent it yourself. Not to mention when your creation manages to NOT taste poisonous.

Cheesy Vegemite Scrolls:

Yep thats close enough. :)

Tasty too.

Ramen:

Beef broth, bacon and vegies.

Tasty but needed more broth.

I will most certainly post more photos of other dishes that I make.
If you like them I can give you the recipe.
